Unique times call for unique celebrations!  While you may not be able to host your birthday party at the zoo right now, it doesn’t mean we can’t help you celebrate.  Sunset Zoo is taking its birthday party experience virtual just for you!

What’s Included

Your virtual zoo birthday party experience is available for all ages, last 30 minutes, and allows for up to three friends to join in on the fun.  For an added fee, you can invite more friends!

• Virtual Behind the Scenes Animal Experience - Sunset Zoo will take you behind the scenes using Zoom to meet and greet up to 3 of our ambassador animals.  You will see where they live, learn a little about them, and meet them live on camera at Sunset Zoo.  Below is the list of animals you can choose from:

• Digital Party Invitation - a themed party invitation in JPEG format with date, time, and Zoom login information for you to share with up to three friends so they can join you to celebrate your birthday.

Enhance Your Virtual Party

Choose one or both add-on options to enhance your experience.

• Animal Painting - Add this option and one of your 3 animals can paint an 8"x10" canvas for you during the party.  This one-of-a-kind experience will create an even more unique birthday present that Sunset Zoo will mail to you a few days after the party.  Each painting will be labeled with the animal’s name and date.  Below are the animals that are able to paint:

• Animal Plush from Sunset Zoo’s Gift Shop - Interested in getting a gift from Sunset Zoo’s gift shop to help commemorate your virtual birthday party?  Add one of Sunset Zoo’s popular, 12" plush, and we will drop it in the mail to you.  Below is a list of the plush we currently have available:

Advance payment is required to reserve a party date; this advance payment is a non-refundable deposit

Availability & Reservations

To allow for staff to engage in recommended social distancing, Virtual Birthday Parties are only available between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  One week advance notice is required to schedule, and date/time availability is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
